Update from Congregation Meeting on Aug 25

There was a congregational meeting to discuss and make decisions regarding the fire alarm system for the preschool expansion on August 25th at 6:30 pm.

28 members attended.

DISCUSSION: There was an inspection done by the State Fire Marshall for the preschool expansion; and a returned report stating the church needed to be updated to code. The cost of this project is approximately $21,000.00

DISCUSSION: Building & Grounds would like to take out a loan for up to $25,000.00; and subsequently fundraise to pay this loan off early. It would be a 4-year term loan with the hopes of paying it off early by fundraising. Motion by Dan Hackbarth to accept Building & Grounds proposal to install fire system; 2^nd by Lisa Anderson. Motion passed.
