Cornerstone’s Church Corner

February is already upon us, and the kids are very excited about their upcoming Valentine’s Day party. We’ll be talking about the “Human Body” all month long and learning the story of “Zacchaeus”.

We’ll be having a scrapbooking fundraiser, which will be hosted right here in the Fellowship Hall of St. John Lutheran Church. Please join us! All are welcome, it will run Feb.27th from 9a.m.-9p.m. Hourly drawings for prizes, free food, snacks and beverages will be provided. You must bring your own scrapbooking supplies. A Creative Memories consultant will be on hand, if you need extra supplies. The cost is $10.00, payable to “CCP”. If you’d like to attend, please fill out a registration form with payment. The forms are located on the church table.

Registration for our 2010/2011 school year will be open to church members beginning January 31st. Registration forms went out in last month’s church newsletter; but, if you’ve missed it, or you need extra, please go to our blog, cornerstonechristianpreschool.blogspot.com. Click on the registration form, found at the bottom of the page, to print it right from your computer, or, stop in and grab one from the church table. We won’t open our registration to the general public until February 22nd.

On February 22nd, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., we will be having a community open house/registration night, if you want to ask questions and meet the teachers. You may also register at that time, but we urge you to register early, since we fill quickly. If you have any questions about our preschool program, please call Ms. Julie at the preschool or stop in to visit during class time/office hours, M-F 8:00-2:30.
