Special Projects Auction Report - Thanks to all who attended and donated items to this year’s auction, making this a very successful event. We raised $6,217.50. The only expense incurred was advertising, and we are waiting on this bill to see the final amount.
This year, the committee will pay off the balances on the two furnaces that were installed in the education wing, and the soundboard. We also will be setting aside $2,500 in the auction fund for unforeseen expenses. The remaining funds will be put into CD’s for three-months and six-months. The usage of these funds will be determined at a later date. When you see Kevin and Nancy Hiller, please extend a huge thanks for their time and use of their equipment once again. Next year’s auction will be on September 11th at noon. Keep this date in mind. This is a major fundraiser for our church. An idea being looked into is to have two rings at 1:00 PM to reduce the length of the auction.
