This month our preschoolers will be learning about community service! We’ll be starting our food drive for CAER.

Graduation for our Pre-k’s will also be this month on May 23rd during class time in the Sanctuary. All are welcome. We Will be singing songs, watching our graduation DVD, and handing out diplomas.

Since it’s almost the end of our school year, that means we’re looking for people to join our preschool committee. This committee requires a commitment of approximately 4 hours a month. CCP 8th Annual Family Fun Night and Silent Auction

Join us April 29th for the Cornerstone Christian Preschool 8th Annual Family Fun Night and Silent Auction. All are welcome! “Let’s Go Camping” is our theme 5-8p.m.
 
This fun evening includes a FREE meal for the family, games and crafts, jumpy castle, and ponies (if the weather permits). If you would like to donate to the auction, or the raffle, please contact Ms. Julie at 856-4561#14, or drop off all donations in the church office.

Our theme for the month at preschool is “Bugs and Butterflies”. This will be such a fun unit; we’ll have a blast growing our own grass and hatching real butterflies.

Our Bible theme for the month is “Noah’s Ark”. The children will learn all about the animals that God sent to the ark and how the rainbow is God’s promise to us.
 
We are still taking registrations for our 2011/2012 school year. Please call Ms. Julie at the preschool if you’re interested.

Our theme for February is “Under the Sea and Jonah and the Whale”. We’ll be doing many fun things in class that focus on this theme, along with activities that let us explore and discover.

Our theme for the month is “Planets & Creation”. We’ll be doing many fun things in class that focus on this theme along with activities that let us explore creation and our solar system.

We’ll also be having our annual Wacky Week at Cornerstone where we’ll get cozy during a PJ day, wear our hair wacky, and even have a food fight (with marshmallows)!

Christmas time is already here! This month in the preschool we will be focusing on the true meaning of Christmas…Jesus’ Birth! We will also be “traveling” around the world, exploring other Christian traditions in other countries. The kids are always amazed that not everyone has a Christmas Tree in their living room.

The children are busy working on their Christmas songs for our Happy Birthday Jesus Concert on Dec.17th. If you’d like to come and see the children sing, we will have two concerts, one at 6:00 and one at 7:15.

 Cornerstone’s Fall Family Fun Night - November 19th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. There will be many activities, snacks, Scholastic bookfair and games for the kids! We will also have singing and dancing in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great night for the whole family and everyone is invited. You won’t want to miss it. Please join us for this great night.

Fabulous fall times are ahead of us! We have been having a great time in our classes so far this year. The kids will be learning all about music, David & Jonathon, and of course, Thanksgiving, and what we are thankful for.

Well, our school year is off and running! We’re learning all about Jesus and family and friends. Check out our CCP Family Tree in the hallway by our classroom, it’s HUGE! Our October theme is “Cooking & Baking” and “Ruth & Naomi”. We’ll be doing many fun activities to highlight these new themes. Cornerstone will be singing for the church on Oct. 17th at both services. We will also be serving delicious, homemade, yummy, scrumptious egg bakes after the 8:00 AM Worship service-FREE! No need to offer any free will donation, Cornerstone wants to do this as a thank you for the support the members of St. John has given us. We pray you can join us.
