Daughters of all Ages

WELCA is hosting the "Daughters of all ages" event. Cost is $5.00. There is a sign up sheet located in the Narthex of St. John. This event will feature a humorous speaker and delicious goodies. This event is open to everyone. If you would like more information, contact Joalyn Welte at 763-441-2768

Annual St. John Bazaar

WELCA News - The annual St. John Bazaar will be Saturday October 9th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. All members of St. John are encouraged to donate to this worthwhile cause. Baked goods, crafts, wood crafts, plants, vegetables, etc. will be available for purchase. Drop off items on Friday, October 8th from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

WELCA Meeting

WELCA will be meeting August 23rd at 6:30 pm to start planning the annual bazaar this fall. So mark your calendar!! Also, WELCA will be hosting a dessert table at the auction, so please, be ready to start baking those goodies for purchase at the auction. We need your help to make this the success it has been!

WELCA Meeting

WELCA - ALL women of St. John are invited to meet April 19, at 6:30 pm in the library to discuss future events.

Quilting

Quilting – Last day for Quilting is April 27^th - Quilting is on Tuesday from 9:00 am to noon. Please join us in making quilts for CAER Food Shelf, Lutheran World Relief and school graduation parties.

WELCA will not be meeting every month for a while, but we will still be doing the same activities that we have done in the past. Women have stepped forward to chair these events. The 2010 events are:

WELCA – Cookie walk & lefse bake furnace fundraiser, December 12^th starting at 10:00 am. We need donations of fancy Christmas cookies by 9 am on the 12^th. Please sign-up in the Narthex

Away in the Basement

Plymouth Playhouse Outing – Laugh with the Church Basement Ladies in the presentation of “Away in the Basement”. Wrap up your Christmas season, January 24, 2010 at the 6:00 pm performance. We have only 20 reserved seats at $25.00 each. Sign-up sheet is on the table in the Narthex.
