A meal is provided before classes for Weaving Wednesday students and Confirmation students.

Come and join us for our youth/family event! Meet us at St John Lutheran church at 6:00pm on September 24, 2011. Cost per person $5.00. Max $20.00 per family.
** 5th grade and under need to have a parent/adult attend**

Sunday School News

September 11^th is Rally Sunday. We are looking forward to meeting the students and their parents at 9:15 AM in the Fellowship Hall. We will serve a light breakfast and you will be able to meet your teachers for the upcoming year. Classes will begin September 18^th at 9:15 AM-10:15 AM.

Christian Education meeting

I would like to schedule a Christian Education meeting for Thursday, August 25th at 6:30-7:30. You are all very important to this team, especially now that we no longer have a youth director. Your voice is very essential!

Sunday school

Confirmation 2011!

It’s time for St. John youth to affirm their baptisms. Confirmation begins with baptism, when parents take on the responsibility of a child’s faith and then, with the completion of confirmation, that responsibility passes from the parents to their young adult children. This is an exciting time for our church as a whole. This year the confirmation service will take place on May 8th at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary. Pictures will take place shortly after the service.
