Ministries

Come join the men's activities at St. John!

Three of the main activities are:

  • Men's Bible Study
  • The St. John Band
  • Men's choir

In addition, there are always a number of other activities you can participate in at St John.  Name your talent, we can find a spot for it in our family!  Calling all Men!

Men's Bible Study takes place the 1st Saturday of each month, at 9:00 am. We discuss Bible topics and how they relate to today's issues.  Do you have questions of the bible, or maybe you would just

Would you like an opportunity to learn more?  This is the group to join.  It's a casual meeting with a small group and a perfect place for men to discuss issues they face and how the bible can help guide us through.  We hope to see you there.

Beat the drums!  The St. John Band, is just that - a band!  A band of merry men that bring their musical talents together and try to incorporate them into song. Sometimes we are successful at this and sometimes, well not.  But either way we have a great time. :)

We showcase our talents at the annual Family night, where our trademark song has become Hee-Haw's "Where, oh where, are you tonight".

Lend Us Your Voice!  The Men's Choir performs special music throughout the year during our Worship Services. We are always looking for male voices to add to our group.

If you have every had a dream of singing, or maybe you just want to give it a shot. We are game if you are.

Below is a list of different opportunities to serve God through our church and community. Each description includes an estimate of the amount of time that is needed.
